Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.
(Hebrews 12:28-29 ESV)
Let us...
oh, yes ~ let us be grateful...
for receiving...we have a choice...we can say yes or no to Jesus.
Receiving Jesus as my Lord and Savior opens the door of faith that I believe Him, knowing that I will enter into the Kingdom of God one day. No doubt. No fear. And this Kingdom is built upon the Rock, the Cornerstone. This Kingdom is strong and stable...cannot be shaken. It cannot be shaken. Isn't that exciting? I believe. And, oh, how grateful I am for this promise, this Truth.
Let me...
let me give my thanks to the One so very generous...
- Who always has His eye upon me
- Who holds me near, guiding me very steps
- Who guides the process for the care of my back and neck
- Who takes me to the doctors He has chosen for me
- Who guides my written word
- Who teaches me deeper still about Who He is, what He has done for me, and what He continues to do for me
- Who hovers over me in the dark places
Let me...
let me place my gratitude at the foot of the Cross...
- for listening to me as I admit that my heart is not right toward someone
- asking forgiveness and help from God
Let me...
let me give thanks to my God for...
- cool fronts blowing in to lower the temperatures to feel like fall
- hummingbirds buzzing from feeder to flowers and then leaving to migrate further south
- Monarch butterflies fluttering from flower to flower and they, too, migrate south on the whisp of the wind and for such long journeys across the Gulf of Mexico (Only God could create such a delicate little creature that can fly and fly and fly and meet up in Mexico and South America.)
- homemade fudge
- running into someone I have not seen in a while
- her eleven year old is now fourteen and is just so sweet and lovely...a very young, young woman
- for the honest marriage we have
LORD, I say, "I love You" and those three words barely touch the feeling I have for You, my Creator. Does "I love You" say "thank You" too? It feels like it does today. Teach me more about keeping a blameless heart toward You, Abba Father. With my heart as it is, Your child. Amen.
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him."

How wonderful to have butterflies this time of year! Your list was beautiful today. Have a blessed week in our Lord.
Hi Linda,
Loved your gratitudes. I especially loved the one about "the honest marriage." What an awesome blessing and I appreciate your "honesty" in sharing that.
It says to me that things are not always perfect but you have the atmosphere and respect in your marriage to discuss and "talk things out." That is to be treasured.
Hope your week is blessed.
Love,
D.
just a beautiful list...honest,real...full of thanks..
Blessings
