Blessed Christ

I wish each one of you a sweet and blessed Christmas.  May our Saviour be at the very center of this week and may we be at His feet.  I love you, each and all.

“Glory to God in the highest,
        and on earth

peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
(Luke 2:14 ESV)

"Celebrate Jesus just like you do every day. Realize that Jesus did not come to earth so we could celebrate a birthday. He came to save us from our sins. That is the good news. He was born to die. He was raised to live. Jesus is not the reason for the season. He is the reason for every season."

I have truly missed posting for three week now.  My emotional plate has been full and I have done rather poorly in giving my burdens to Jesus.  I would appreciate your prayers and I will be back little-by-little as I am led...like tonight.  It feels good to be back in community.

This beaded Christmas tree was made for my mother some 40 years ago.  It is the only tree my husband and I put up.  It is so precious to me.  Mama can't have it at the nursing home, but she has a quilted one this year.
